In an article on Mickey Spillane in World Literature Today, I came across the info that apparently the five most translated authors of all time are:

1.Lenin
2.Tolstoy
3.Gorky
4.Jules Verne
5.Mickey Spillane

Hard to know how accurate this is, but still, most ponderable.
